Reason to Worry

dmittedly, I did watch Sarah Palin's Alaska last week. And I DVR'ed it for this week. But as this article points out, that whole 8-week long infomercial is just a political ad keeping in the mind of her supporters how awesome they think she is -- except a turn on the head of political ads, they're actually paying her!?

(Okay, finished with my oatmeal, off to shower before Geography and International Institutions classes,  then have a bunch of homework to finish before my Educational Implementation class!)

Please, please, PLEASE someone tell me she is just a nightmare, and will never actually have a chance in this country to be President...

Song of the Day: "I'm Hot" by Angelina Pivarnick. Bahahhahaaaa..... okay, so this is the MOST ANNOYING CHARACTER ON THE JERSEY SHORE. Someone led her to believe she could make a sing-talk rap video? "It's like rapping, but not quite..." There have been many occasions where I called a song particularly bad -- but this is, seriously, the worst - I cannot believe someone even put this out onto the internet. Why is talent not a requirement for getting an album anymore? (She doesn't even have a Wikipedia page! And half the song is actually some Guy...) The lyrics are atrocious. ("I'm Hot, like an Ice Cream Cone...") Lol, on an almost separate note -- Ross is older than most of the Jersey Shore cast...





Website of the Day: "From Old Book.com" haha, so in writing my Harry Potter textbook - this site is filled with AWESOME woodcuts and fancy old style letters (like the one used above!) I'm clearly going to be exploring this in detail in the future, and I hope I can hold off til Thanksgiving break, because it's kinda pushing off my homework how distracted I've *been* by it... Ah!

Well the other day I signed up for some stupid Blockbuster program: which means I get even more free movies sent to me, more than I have time to watch as a matter of fact. Well, per my interest in movies about magic , I found this "The Worst Witch: The Movie" film that I had never heard of before so I decided to rent it and watch it this Saturday morning when I plan to catch up on my rough week's piling up of work to do. Losing all my Drive

First, a hair update. The dying went interestingly to say the least. I was reminded once again of how much of a cry baby I am, can't stand a little scorching burning sensation. While I was aiming for something along the lines of this , Circle K members seem to think I hit more of a Nazi kid from the movie "The Pacifier" -- I've actually never seen it, but Tiffany owns it and I'll have to borrow it sometime. (Googling a bit, this guy is likely who they're referring to.) Ugh, so had another stressful day. Since waking up I pretty much hadn't had five minutes to just sit down, and literally finally found 3 minutes to eat a Banquet in the middle of the day (roommates judge how they want - when I only have 3 minutes for a meal, I'm really not all that picky.) Got to vote, picked up my check from home, and took a wrong turn on the high way and ended up taking 8 South to 77. Observations on Captain Kirk's Quarters

So I've been in a bit of a Star Trek mood lately, and right now I'm watching the movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country before bed. Having noticed a few things I'd never noticed before, I feel like I should publish them on the internet somewhere! Firstly, I have the utmost respect and love for the people who make the tiny details of Star Trek possible. Mike Okuda in particular, who designed all of the major Starfleet computer screen layouts. And a little random background in case your curious, Star Trek VI is the sixth Star Trek movie that came out a little after Star Trek: The Next Generation aired. It is the last film to focus solely on the original crew, and is set aboard the USS Enterprise-A (the second of six Federation Starships named Enterprise.) So, onto my observations!
