Break Plans

Woo! Break is almost here, with the exception of a Microeconomics final I'm severely dreading. So I thought I'd post the plans I'm considering for over break : 1.) Saturday, celebrate Chinese New Years with Grandpa and his Tai chi class. I try to go to this every year, grandpa's allowed to bring a guest and they all remember me from when I went and visited their class back when I was like 7! Though this time its during the day, and at a Thai restaurant, hrmm . 2.) Read Barack Obama's The Audacity of Hope which mom bought me for 2005 Christmas. It looks nice on my book shelf, but like many of those books, I really do mean to get around to reading them. 3.) Party with the gang, which seems to include returning to Akron a sure-heck-of-a-lot. 4.) This weekend, Christmas-up the house! After the Saturday night uber -cleaning (u.u; why can't my family clean on their own...) I'll put up all the Christmas decorations, and maybe even get the tree - or maybe go Sund

Start of Finals Week

Well it's Monday, first day of finals week: I don't have any finals today, but I do tomorrow and Thursday and Friday - and a bunch of things due tomorrow x_x Right now I'm playing with Pandora.com which is trying to find music I like I guess, its successful, but it doesn't seem like its using what I like to find particular songs at all. W/e, seems cool, and its free radio. Spike is like, a non-stop CSI marathon - lol. Been watching that alot of the last 24 hours. Right now they're on an exorcist-kinda episode. After this I'll go over to the Library to print out a newspaper clipping I need for my History Final Project [seperate from the actual final test which is tomorrow, and I need to make a note card for.] Woah! The murderer's trying to get away in mom's car! lol, stationwagon, funny. Okay, now I'm pretty sure my 10 page paper is due Wednesday so I can do it at work tomorrow night. Now its just a matter of finishing this book report by 9, go to the

Quick Blurb

So today I had an interview for an open position on the UA ASG Judicial Branch, for a justice position. Wooo, hope that goes well, I think I did pretty well, knew the responcibilities but wasn't actually asked about them (actually he read them to me.) Quote of the Day: "I hope [boy] makes [son] very happy, cause when my parents see this they're going to disown me!" - Asian mom on "Date My Mom" on VH1 very very happily saying hilarious phrase. Me and Sarah cracked up! Song of the Day: "Ur So Gay" ~ Katy Perry. Lol, this song is kinda weird, not quite sure what it means but unfortunately it has the same beat and feel as every Katy Perry song so I'll probably tire of it quickly. Interesting lyric: "You're so gay, and you don't even like boys!" [Link for music video]

Sad excuses for MTV Reality Shows

Ahahaha, Oh man. Paris Hilton's New BFF is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. And before I can even make fun of that, there's a new "Shot at Love with a Bi-Hottie" show - this time it's twins! Oh boy. Reality television is crazying. So Arianna Huffington (political commentator, owner of a political newspaper) was on The Daily Show promoting a new book on blogging, and I was like "hm, I made that blog, time to actually work on it!" I made like, 3 mini-paragraph blogs that I didn't finish so I didn't want to post it. But here's just whatever I'm thinking. Next week is finals week, woo. Semesters almost over, and winter breaks almost here. What will I do this winter? Better get my freakin licence already. Jesus, I mean seriously. But before that even, I have another week of stuff to take care of, including project due dates, finals to study for, and shifts I picked up. Quote of the Day: "Oh, hot shizzle! This is Mrs.

Obama Cabinet Announcements

In politics today, President-elect Barack Obama has announced a whole bunch of positions (officially) at once today - his special hoosy-whatsit team. Top of this team? Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State! n.n This means she'll be in charge of representing America abroad - ala current Condoleezza Rice, and former Colin Powell. This also means on the Presidential order of succession, she's fifth to be president in a horrible crisis. (President, VP, Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, and Secretary of State.) Other nominations today, names you probably won't know: Eric Holder as Attorney General, Janet Napolitano as Sec. of Homeland Security, Susan Rice (no relation to Condoleeza) as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, and two Republicans. Yes, Barack Obama is having Republicans on his cabinet, mr. uniter himself. Gates (Bush's current Sec of Defense) will stay on, and Jim Johns or Jones (haha, no relation here either) another republican will be National Se
