Where is the Real Sabrina House?
Ever wondered, as I have, where the Sabrina the Teenage Witch house was? Yes, I know it's a TV show. Yes, I know the rooms were on a set. But they would occasionally show exterior shots of a white Victorian house -- and that is what I am talking about. Well on several occasions I've looked for it, and tonight, I've found it! (Granted, technically someone *else* found it - and I found their finding of it.) But since the web does not have any real answers as to where it is (the Yahoo! Answers answerer's sarcastic response not withstanding) -- I wanted to make sure others looking could find it easier than I could, and blogs are remarkably easy to find on search engines.
Without further ado, SPELLMAN MANOR:
The Sabrina House is 64 East Main Street Freehold, New Jersey 07728-2255. At present it contains a variety of business offices, including the Monmouth County Democratic Party Inc. (If anyone goes to the house because of this post, I'd be interested in hearing about it!)
Well, I've been searching for this place all night -- once I had clues based on Melissa Joan Hart's official website, it was a matter of figuring out what the sign in the window said. My Star Trek-eagle eyes still couldn't make out which "...County Democrats" it was, because narrowing down the county would certainly help! The person who originally found it said it was Monmouth County, New Jersey.
I hope they don't mind that I used their clue to find the house. But being a business, not a private residence (like the Charmed House) I can't imagine them being too displeased by fans taking pictures in the front yard. Good publicity?
Video of the Day: Speaking of good publicity, play this in the background for a few minutes just so they can ratchet up their playcount. When it hits 100,000, some software company will legit donate $10,000 to some kind of Education funding. I think someone on Facebook posted this as a link.
Song of the Day: "Shake" by Jesse McCartney. Alright, so it's sung by a 2000s "Dream Street" boyband blondie, some of the lyrics are a bit corny, the chorus has a childishly simple beat, and it steals lines from other pop songs -- I think it's kinda fun. Haha, at the age of 10 -- McCartney did musicals with Ricky Ullman, the star of Phil of the Future! (Random interesting fact.) This music video makes him look like a combination of Frankie Muniz and Zac Efron in Hairspray though. Haha, ya know what -- up until now I think I thought Jesse McCartney was Aaron Carter... Yup, definitely did.

Another fun fact about Freehold is Bruce Springsteen grew up here, on South Street.
