Well, explored this abandoned building back in July of 2011, but it was after my ex had broken my camera so I only have pictures from my cellphone, which went massively unorganized until I decided to empty it a few weeks ago. So now I'm getting back to blogging about the adventures I missed over the last year do to lack of pictures. I first spotted this house en route to Aurora Outlets I think from the street, and we had to park in like a cul-de-sac artificial suburb and run across a busy street to explore it. And then it started raining, so we didn't explore it in that much detail -- but I was more eager to actually get inside the structure and take some pictures so I have something to show for it. As you may know, I go through my periods of obsessions on occasion. Pokemon, Lady Gaga, etc. Well it is safe to say I am in the middle of a Star Trek-obsession phase, that's really all I've spent my free time doing lately - reading, writing, watching playing, and listening to Star Trek! With the magic of uTorrent, I'm able to watch all my favorite episodes I can't afford to buy! (Since a typical season of Star Trek costs about/more than a hundred dollars. Unless I buy it used.) Add to that there are 28 seasons of Star Trek, across 5 series'. While contributing to the various Star Trek wikis , and fan-fiction sites -- I found the above picture. It looks so cool! Lol, okay, so um - back in like 2006 I bought this Captain Planet T-shirt. And I like things that make fiction seem more real (so rather than getting, say, a shirt with the Planeteers on it, I got a shirt like the ones the planeteers wore!) Anyway. (I'm keeping this post brief.) So I'm at work, should be doing homework, but I'm watching The Real World: San Fransisco because Miami is no where to be found on the internetz. Okay. I have officially had all of my classes for Fall 2009 semester at least once now, but I still didn't feel like I was back in school mode til working a shift at the Honors desk. I am now working, however, my first graveyard shift -- and admittedly I was pretty tired on my way over here, dreading working and just wanting to sleep in my bed. But now that I'm here, and I get some alone time on my labtop, it's kinda nice to be "home." So today's been pretty stressful, with some Circle K plans falling through requiring a last minute change that's going to prove cumbersome and annoying, and some financial aid problems, on top of overall financial problems -- I've just been pretty generically stressed lately. Oh! In response to my financial issues (ie: I'm only working 6 hours a week CAing. That's not gonna cut the mustard.) So had an awesome week+weekend, party at Kayla's was fun, Saturday hanging with the gang and visitor from Rio Jason was fun, went to the end of the year barbecue at the Kent State's Kiwanians house with Jen, Jason, Kayla and Sarah. Then Sunday was fun, got to FINALLY eat at the infamous "Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse" and unfortunately, it was kinda disappointing. The show was awesome, and the service was great (except for the waitress who I pissed off by being knowledgeable about Japanese things!) but the food was only average IMO. I would prefer cheap, next-to-Dave's Chinese food over them by far. But definitely something to do on special occasions :) Great way to have a last week...

So today I had an interview for an open position on the UA ASG Judicial Branch, for a justice position. Wooo, hope that goes well, I think I did pretty well, knew the responcibilities but wasn't actually asked about them (actually he read them to me.) Lol, this song is kinda weird, not quite sure what it means but unfortunately it has the same beat and feel as every Katy Perry song so I'll probably tire of it quickly.
