HATCHED: The Premier of 'Born This Way'!

Image
Sorry it's taken a week to blog about this, but it's been a busy week! That's right Little Monsters, last Friday morning Lady Gaga released her long awaited and much anticipated new single off her new album: " BORN THIS WAY ." The radio ( 96.5 in particular ) played it every hour on the hour all weekend! Which came as a pleasant surprise as I drove home from Sarah's at 6:59 Friday morning n.n Then Sunday night, Lady Gaga performed her new song live at the Grammy's for the first time. Never to be out-dressed or out-staged, she arrived at the red carpet being carried "Roman-style" by her back-up dancers, having spent the entire weekend inside of a giant egg, which the egg's designer has labeled a "vessel." During the Grammy's, I followed the Twitter chatter, watching live updates of things people posted about the Grammy's. It was actually really fun to watch so many people's opinions in real time, it was almost like...

So the search for a costume continues, but the Pokemon theme is proving popular! Patsy bought her Pikachu costume today for less than 5 bucks (it was pretty impressive actually, its gonna look cool.) But for me, the most convincing image I'd try to emulate so far would have to be This One of a Sandslash. Upcoming Movie of the Day: "Paranormal Activity" . So this film was made on a budget of 15,000$ (where as, "Couples Retreat" for example was made on a budget of 60 million dollars.) But all the reviews for it are RIDICULOUSLY awesome. Like, this is what Horror movies are supposed to be. Not serial killers like Michael Myers and Jason, freaky shi* that f**ks with your mind and makes you scared to go to bed at night!!! Well "Paranormal Activity" is documentary style (similar to The Blaire Witch Project) follows a couple that thinks their house might be haunted. Well, if the videos meme-cramming the internet of audience members jumping like I've nev...

Pre-Finals Week Twitters

Image
Cause I don't have the jitters at all, so I thought I'd just post some general things online -- aka, Twitter, but without using twitter. :P sorry for trying to come up with some not-boring blog title! So this week has gone pretty greatly, I love how I've had little to complain about lately :D yay for all those hard papers being past me. In fact, this morning I turned in the Final Final draft of my Historical Methods paper on Andrew Johnson -- yay for that being done and gone! And then my U.S. History class got out 45 minutes early after she handed us a practice final that will be the same as the final, sans ten questions so woop woop! Good day :D Bizarre News Story of the Day: Beyonce, scheduled to make appearance at museum in Austria, decides to go shopping instead. But sends a look-a-like to Museum . Quote of the Day: More excellent English from my senile U.S. History teacher: Heading for Notes: "How is Reconstruction work?" (um, how about "How DID reconst...

I'm not a Its 4 am

Image
For my good friend Kayla, I would gladly pick up a 4-8 am shift so she may have some fun, especially when I think of how bad her birthday party went. But I am so not a 4am-8am person x_x although I did sleep from 10:30-3, so thats like, 5.5 hours. We'll see, but Thursdays are my crazy-crazy bad busy days, cause I have the most classes and work today. Oh, but I don't work Thursday nights anymore so I'll get to go to bed early. Thats nice. So I bought Grand Theft Auto III and Minority Report for PS2 - and I don't remember how to play either of them, lol. I can't figure out how to get a mission on GTA, and I couldn't figure out how to use weapons or find where I was supposed to go in the brief period I was playing MR. But horray, bought more PS2 games! I'm fairly excited to be getting a house next year, which will hopefully go well, I'm thinking it will. The only trepidation I'm feeling is likely over the change from the security of the dorms. Cause I...

Inaugural Post

Welcome to my inaugural post, ie: first, opening. Welcome to the new blog, it seems AOL Blogs has ended in some fashion (AOL is on quite the downhill slide, and will likely end eventually) and my Myspace blog - eh, I don't like going to Myspace to write a blog. I feel like having my own blog site. And I'll probably end up setting it up on Facebook that it will appear as me posting a Note whenever I post a blog, so hopefully you'll get informed :D Hello my new readers! I have to run to my one class today (cause "Fixing Schools" is canceled) Global History Conflicts and Encounters, so I'll hopefully post more later. Cause oh, do I have stuff to talk about. lol, in blog options I can post in the font Webdings. Bet you'd appreciate that! Song of the Day: "Womanizer" - Britney Spears , just because for someone who's had alot of ups and downs in her life, I kinda like this song. And she definitely identifies the song enough. Quote of the Day : ...
