Senior Moment

So while passing through the living room this morning, I noted that Betty White was the guest start on mom's watching of The View. Betty White is pretty much recognized as the matriarch of comedy these days, so as I often do, I checked Tumblr to see what kind of entertaining things they would have for her.

turns out a second season episode of Boston Legal.

I soon noticed several posts saying that they had "imagined Betty White as Mags..." and I did not know what that was, so I googled a bit, and Mags is I guess an older character in the Hunger Games. And I found this site that spelled out some other actresses Hunger Game-fans (do they have a name?) suggested for the role - and let me just say, that pretty much EVERY old-lady actress I like is on this page, hahaha!

Losing all my Drive

First, a hair update. The dying went interestingly to say the least. I was reminded once again of how much of a cry baby I am, can't stand a little scorching burning sensation. While I was aiming for something along the lines of this , Circle K members seem to think I hit more of a Nazi kid from the movie "The Pacifier" -- I've actually never seen it, but Tiffany owns it and I'll have to borrow it sometime. (Googling a bit, this guy is likely who they're referring to.) Ugh, so had another stressful day. The Magic School Bus: "For Sail!"

So I survived the weekend! What'dya know? On top of that, I finally figured out how uTorrent works, so I was able to download the entire series of The Magic School Bus - which has been helping me through those 4 hour shifts on campus (Am. Eagle is another story...) But it's 6 am, I thought I'd share with you some dazzling discoveries of merchandise and mementos! OMG! I TOTALLY had this toy growing up! :D And boy did I love it. I found it on eBay, but it's 30 bucks - and I don't *need* it, I have my memories from my Childhood, and it's just sit on a shelf somewhere... (NO! Must NOT buy it... fighting... urge...) But it was awesome! Part of the point of this blog is to keep pictures I find for future reference, gotta jog those Childhood Memories some times. See, the thing came with all those pieces, that fit inside the bus (The roof came off.) Observations on Captain Kirk's Quarters

So I've been in a bit of a Star Trek mood lately, and right now I'm watching the movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country before bed. Having noticed a few things I'd never noticed before, I feel like I should publish them on the internet somewhere! Firstly, I have the utmost respect and love for the people who make the tiny details of Star Trek possible. Mike Okuda in particular, who designed all of the major Starfleet computer screen layouts. And a little random background in case your curious, Star Trek VI is the sixth Star Trek movie that came out a little after Star Trek: The Next Generation aired. It is the last film to focus solely on the original crew, and is set aboard the USS Enterprise-A (the second of six Federation Starships named Enterprise.) So, onto my observations!
