Stubborn till the end, that's the sailor's way. Nah, don't know what the heck I'm talking about, but I'm at work at the desk and feel like continuing my birthday list count-up.

4. The First Season of Veronica Mars on DVD. One of my favorite shows ever, Veronica's wit and humor is the stuff I aspire to be. Not to mention she solves mysteries! You can't get cooler than all that combined into one. And I haven't got a new DVD set in a long time, and I finally have a DVD player again.

Song of the Day: The Gospel Truth, Disney's Hercules. For reasons beyond my understanding, I was up last night watching random disney songs on youtube. Disappointing, I know. Something about the Hercules Muses seemed cool though, and I've always been a fan of Greek mythology.

Losing all my Drive

First, a hair update. The dying went interestingly to say the least. I was reminded once again of how much of a cry baby I am, can't stand a little scorching burning sensation. While I was aiming for something along the lines of this , Circle K members seem to think I hit more of a Nazi kid from the movie "The Pacifier" -- I've actually never seen it, but Tiffany owns it and I'll have to borrow it sometime. (Googling a bit, this guy is likely who they're referring to.) Ugh, so had another stressful day. Since waking up I pretty much hadn't had five minutes to just sit down, and literally finally found 3 minutes to eat a Banquet in the middle of the day (roommates judge how they want - when I only have 3 minutes for a meal, I'm really not all that picky.) The Magic School Bus: "For Sail!"

So I survived the weekend! What'dya know? On top of that, I finally figured out how uTorrent works, so I was able to download the entire series of The Magic School Bus - which has been helping me through those 4 hour shifts on campus (Am. Eagle is another story...) But it's 6 am, I thought I'd share with you some dazzling discoveries of merchandise and mementos! OMG! I TOTALLY had this toy growing up! :D And boy did I love it. I found it on eBay, but it's 30 bucks - and I don't *need* it, I have my memories from my Childhood, and it's just sit on a shelf somewhere... (NO! Must NOT buy it... fighting... urge...) But it was awesome! Part of the point of this blog is to keep pictures I find for future reference, gotta jog those Childhood Memories some times. See, the thing came with all those pieces, that fit inside the bus (The roof came off.) Observations on Captain Kirk's Quarters

So I've been in a bit of a Star Trek mood lately, and right now I'm watching the movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country before bed. Having noticed a few things I'd never noticed before, I feel like I should publish them on the internet somewhere! Firstly, I have the utmost respect and love for the people who make the tiny details of Star Trek possible. Mike Okuda in particular, who designed all of the major Starfleet computer screen layouts. And a little random background in case your curious, Star Trek VI is the sixth Star Trek movie that came out a little after Star Trek: The Next Generation aired. It is the last film to focus solely on the original crew, and is set aboard the USS Enterprise-A (the second of six Federation Starships named Enterprise.) So, onto my observations!
